Writing successful answers to resource-based questions

Many longer questions in exams will ask you to ‘Use Figure 1 and your own understanding’. This article explores how to approach such questions so that you can maximise your marks.

Extended exam questions often ask you to use a resource and your own understanding. The resource will be provided for you. Questions like this have benefits for both students and examiners:
