In 2019, the London borough of Camden declared a climate and ecological emergency. But what does this mean? What action is being taken? And what will the impact be?

As the COP26 conference approaches, more businesses, organisations and governments are keen to make people aware of what they’re doing to tackle climate change. When countries signed the Paris Agreement in 2015, they agreed to a legally binding treaty that aims to limit global warming to well below 2°C, compared to pre-industrial levels.
