The Kilauea and Fuego eruptions

In May and June 2018, two of the most active volcanoes in the world erupted, in Hawaii and Guatemala. The impact of each of these volcanoes was different but nevertheless devastating. Kilauea is a shield volcano on a hotspot in the centre of the Pacific ‘Ring of Fire’ while Fuego is a composite volcano on the eastern edge of the Pacific.
