Answering questions on familiar fieldwork

If you are due to sit your exams in 2018, you will be among the first students to take the ‘new’ GCSEs in geography. One of the big changes you will face compared to previous students concerns fieldwork

The changes from previous geography specifications are:

1 You must be given two occasions — that normally means 2 days — in which to carry out fieldwork away from the school site. One of these must be in physical geography, the second in human geography.
