Sustainable tourism in the Roseland Peninsula

The Roseland Peninsula is on the south coast of Cornwall, bordered by the Fal estuary to the west and the Atlantic Ocean to the east (Figure 1). It has been designated an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty (AONB) for its landscape and coastal scenery.

Although road access to Cornwall has improved, Roseland remains ‘off the beaten track’ and is relatively unspoilt. However, this can be a challenge for businesses and tourism operating in the area.
