Table 1 Modules and units in GCSE geography courses

During the summer, many of you will have taken modular GCSEs in geography. For the first time, Year 10 students collected their results for several subjects on the same day as Year 11 students. GCSE geography students no longer have to take exams all together at the end of Year 11, but can now take them over 2 years. Maths and science students have been taking modular exams for several years, and now this method of assessment is being adopted for other subjects.
