You need to decide approximately how long you should spend on each type of question, working it out from the marks available. You also need to get used to what you can achieve in this time, and the best way of doing that is to practise answering as many questions of the different types as possible under timed conditions during your course. As well as completing all homework tasks, use past papers. In the exam room, keep a close eye on the time, and try not to over-run.
