In this issue of SOCIOLOGY REVIEW, we recommend you have a look at a good set of sociology resources called ‘Sociology at Twynham’: www.sociologytwynham.com

The website has the classic ‘What is sociology?’ page, but with a twist. It uses video clips to encourage you to think about what the sociological imagination is all about. It uses the analogy of a car engine’s workings to demonstrate that you can use/live in a car/ society without necessarily knowing how it ‘works’, but that with greater knowledge of its operation you can be more effective as a mechanic/citizen. It also invites you to play the role of the sceptical stranger to begin to exercise your sociological brain.
