Can we know God by experience?

Peter Donovan’s article on knowledge of God by intuition through religious experience is an accessible article, but it is long and it can be difficult to have an overall sense of what is important. Sarah K. Tyler explores some ways in which you can show your understanding of it.

One way to get around the problem of the length of Donovan’s article is to think of the broad theme of the article rather than all the different sections. Some sections seem to take us further away from his key question of whether we can know God through religious experience—intuitive knowledge of God which requires no further evidence or additional arguments.
