Naked attraction

What do we really look for in a potential partner?

Phil Gorman considers the importance of physical attractiveness when looking for a potential romantic partner

Selecting and attracting a mate is a constant issue for all species (including humans) and as such it’s not surprising that TV programme-makers have got involved. Programmes such as Take Me Out and Love Island have been able to cash in on the fascination that we all have with selecting a partner.

However, the question of whether it is looks or personality that are important when selecting a partner has been taken a step further with the Channel 4 TV show Naked Attraction (first aired in 2016).
