Ethical issues, and how to deal with them, are important topic for all psychology students — not least because ethics is part of the research methods content and at least 25% of your exam questions are drawn from research methods content.

Ethical issues are also part of ‘Issues and debates’ topics, and include socially sensitive research in many specifications — AQA includes it as an issue/debate, Edexcel includes it as part of the ‘use of psychological knowledge within society’, OCR includes it as a debate and WJEC/Eduqas mentions ethical issues that arise when working with vulnerable groups and animals.
