Ellie Jenkins focuses on the extended response questions on core studies

What ethical considerations are involved in developmental studies?

Section B of the Core Studies exam in A-level Paper 2 is where you are asked about the areas, perspectives and debates. It contains extended response questions and requires you to think about how the different areas/perspectives relate to each other (in terms of similarities and differences). You need to be familiar with the content of the core studies (as you do for Section A), but you also need to be clear about why the core studies fit into a particular area/perspective, and why it could sometimes be possible to argue that a core study could belong in a different area.

OCR are very careful to ensure that questions are not predictable, so there are no guarantees about what you will be asked. This article considers two of the types of questions you might be asked and how you can approach answering them. It also highlights some of the common mistakes students make.
