The information provided by witnesses and victims of crime is fundamental for criminal justice. Police officers usually collect information from witnesses and victims during an interview, typically conducted face-to-face, but sometimes remotely. Either way, the goal of the interview is to collect as much detailed information as possible to allow police to understand what has happened and who might be responsible.
