If studying A-level psychology has ignited a passion in you for this fascinating subject, and you want to find out more about a career in psychology, then this column should signpost you in the right direction. A BPS accredited psychology degree (BA or BSc Hons) remains the key career-entry requirement. Not all psychology degrees are BPS accredited, though, so check this out when applying.

If you get a good first degree in psychology (a first or 2.1 honours degree), the next step is relevant vocational postgraduate training which can then open further doors to you in the following specialisms.
