Tackling WJEC Unit 3/Eduqas Component 3

James Bailey takes a detailed look at the different skills you need to demonstrate on the ‘Implications in the real world’ paper

The WJEC Unit 3/Eduqas Component 3 paper is called ‘Implications in the real world’. It offers a practical application of the various psychological approaches that you have studied in Unit/Component 1 ‘Psychology: past and present’.

In Unit /Component 3 you will be able to apply that knowledge to explain and understand causes of behaviour, as well techniques to modify such behaviour. In addition, you will be required to illustrate your understanding of psychological controversies that continue to pose challenges to psychology, with reference to content that you have studied across your 2 years of study.
