To do well in exams it’s essential that you focus not only on learning the content of the course, but also on engaging with specific exam board requirements regarding the communication of that information. According to the Edexcel Sample Assessment Materials (SAMs), both AS and A-level students will have to write 8-mark essays on social, cognitive, biological and learning topics (as well as some longer ones).
