Aggression is a complex social behaviour that results from a combination of biological and social factors which interact with each other. Aggression can take many different forms. When we think of aggression, we often imagine physical aggression such as fist-fighting or other kinds of physical altercations. This can be described as direct aggression. However, aggression can also be indirect, including verbal aggression such as bullying or perhaps even gossip.
