Applying your knowledge in AQA exams

In the AQA exams there are many questions that require you to apply your psychological knowledge to a novel situation. In fact, in the new AQA exams they may be worth about one third of your total mark. On the current A2 exams there is always a question in the ‘Psychology in action’ section (PSYA4) that requires application. This question is usually worth 10 marks — almost 10% of your final mark for the paper. Therefore these questions may make or break your final mark, so it is essential that you develop the skills to answer them effectively.
