David Buss

David Buss is the author of over 200 articles and books on the topic of evolutionary psychology, covering mating strategies, prestige, jealousy, homicide, and most recently, stalking. He has won many prestigious awards, including the American Psychological Society Distinguished Scientific Award for Early Career Contribution to Psychology in 1988.

CF Perhaps your most famous piece of research is the cross-cultural analysis of human mate preferences in 37 different cultures (Buss 1989). Could you summarise the aims and findings of this study?
