How to get top marks in the 12-mark questions in Edexcel Paper 3 (Comparative politics: USA)

Paper 3 presents you with questions that move away from the familiar question stems that feature in papers 1 and 2 (namely, evaluate or judge the extent of types of question) to shorter questions that ask you to examine and analyse.

For Paper 3A specifically, there is double novelty insofar as the questions are strictly comparative: you will be asked to compare aspects of UK and US politics simultaneously. The 12-mark examine question appears in Section A of the exam and you need to answer one question out of a choice of two.
