AQA 9-mark questions

How to achieve full marks in the AQA Section A 9-mark questions

All AQA 9-mark questions ask you to ‘explain and analyse’ three things. This means that you must write three separate paragraphs for such questions; 6 marks are awarded for knowledge and 3 for analysis. It can be helpful to think of this as 3 marks per paragraph: 2 for knowledge and 1 for analysis.

Do not include an introduction, conclusion or a definition of any concepts at the beginning of your answer. The exception to this is the 9-mark comparative theory question that appears on Paper 2 (see below).
