The A-level global politics paper consists of three sections (Table 1). Sections A and B comprise short-answer questions which require knowledge (AO1) and analysis (AO2). In Section C, you need to write two essays from a choice of three. As well as demonstrating knowledge (AO1) and analysis (AO2), you must evaluate and make judgements (AO3).
In Section C, examiners can award up to 30 marks per essay. The marks are allocated as follows:
