Question 1 of Paper 3 focuses on AO1 (knowledge) and AO2 (analysis). While the mark weighting for this question is higher than for the questions on Papers 1 and 2, it is not a question to be feared. It is a straightforward, entry-level question for the paper, one designed to give you the opportunity to demonstrate your knowledge of the comparative politics of the USA and the UK. Do not confuse it with Question 2, which requires you to include comparative theories. For Question 1, you only need to focus on the comparative elements of the question.
