The use of sources is an integral part of the assessment criteria for Edexcel A-level politics. Sources are used quite differently in politics compared to other subjects, such as history. Rather than reviewing provenance or reliability, the source provides a series of arguments for a student to elaborate on, analyse and evaluate. So how do source questions appear in the exams?
