The Edexcel Government and Politics examination consists of two papers: one for Unit 1 and one for Unit 2. Each exam has a slightly different structure as set out below and it is important that you understand exactly what is required for each style of question. One thing common to both exam papers is that they each last for 80 minutes and each carries 80 marks: you should therefore aim to time your answers based on 1 minute per mark.
