The key to success in these units is to be able to explain the key issues that the questions focus on. They give you the opportunity to show the examiner exactly why you have chosen to study politics, by discussing and evaluating the political issues that you read about and watch evolving on a day-to-day basis.
Do not get bogged down in the detail of the policies you have studied — it is impossible to learn every single government policy ever proposed. Instead, try to focus your revision on the policies that have been most controversial or divisive between or within parties. These are usually the ones that the media have concentrated on so there will be plenty of factual information and analysis about these issues.
