Since the vast majority of political bloggers are unashamedly open in their delivery of biased political opinions, they offer vital nonestablishment alternatives that can only serve to enhance societies that genuinely cherish freedom of expression and aspire to the principles of liberal democracy. But political blogs can also descend into unsavoury smears, libel and slander.
