How might participation be improved?

In ‘Democracy and participation’ in POLITICS REVIEW Vol. 19, No. 1, Paul Whiteley charted the decline of political participation in the UK. This article examines some of the models that have been advanced to explain participation and considers what can be done to stimulate renewed participation.
