In September 2022 we saw images of the Imperial State Crown, the Sovereign’s Sceptre and the Sovereign’s Orb, which were placed on the coffin for the state funeral of Queen Elizabeth II. They were safely secured in place for the funeral. This video from the Independent shows them being removed after the procession:
