Calculating information from graphs

There is a lot of information that can be calculated from graphs, as David Swinscoe explains

In this Mathskit we will look at how to calculate information from graphs and how to interpret and describe the results. We will start with some familiar graphs and calculations, and then look at how the calculations depend on what is represented on the axes.

Many relationships in physics produce straight-line graphs, and are called linear relationships. When analysing straight-line graphs you will have used the equation:
