Completing your coursework

Symond Burrows explains the requirements for Sections B and C of the PHED 4 A-level PE coursework.

The written/verbal part of your PE coursework counts for just as many marks as your practical performance. Section A involves performer/coach/official roles marked in three areas of assessment out of 20 marks each, making up a total of 60 marks.

Sections B and C can be purely written, or written notes can be combined with verbal presentations to show understanding in the required elements of the sections. Whichever approach you take, you are attempting to provide work to earn a potential 30 marks in Section B before moving on to try and earn another 30 marks in Section C (i.e. 60 in total).
