AM: The biomechanics involved in netball put significant stress on the body. How do you ensure that you are robust enough to withstand the demands of training and playing?

JG: There is a huge emphasis on this, not only in terms of athletic development, but also because keeping everyone fit and able to play every week is such a challenge. Developing the capacity to accelerate, decelerate, and change direction quickly and efficiently under fatigue is something we do both on and off the court.
