The topic of drug taking is on the specifications of all the major exam boards.

Sportspeople have been using performance enhancing drugs (PEDs) for many years. Big names such as Lance Armstrong (2000), Marion Jones (2000), Ben Johnson (1988), Tyson Gay (2012) and most notably the Russian Olympic Federation (2012, 2014 and 2016) have all been accused, caught and punished for their use of PEDs or attempts to mislead the World Anti-Doping Agency (WADA).
