What does ‘clean sport’ mean to you? Maybe you’ve heard about an elite athlete who has failed a drugs test and been banned from sport, or a coach who has been involved in helping an athlete to cheat, very much going against the concept of clean sport. The fight to protect clean sport is ongoing and together we can make sure more sports participants, enthusiasts and professionals are proud of being clean and staying clean in their quest to succeed in the highly competitive world of elite sport.
UK Anti-Doping (UKAD) is the national anti-doping organisation (NADO) responsible for ensuring UK sports bodies meet the requirements of the World Anti-Doping Code, a document that combines anti-doping policies, rules and regulations. Since 2009, UKAD has worked with athletes, support personnel and sports all over the country to ensure that the integrity of UK sport is protected.
