Water

Too much or too little?

For many of us, it’s easy to take water for granted. But when lakes dry up and we have too little, or riverbanks burst and we have too much, we understand the true damage that water can cause.

It is becoming increasingly common to wake up to news of flooding or drought. One of the most serious impacts of these hazards is upon public water supplies. These are the supplies of treated water to homes and businesses that are relied upon for human consumption, hygiene and other essential services worldwide.
