The Freedom Trail in Boston celebrates this Massachusetts city’s part in the American Revolution. On this trail, the Granary Burial Ground, though now surrounded by modern highrise buildings, contains the grave of the five victims of the Boston Massacre of 1770. This was one of the crucial events which led to the breakaway of the American colonies from British control.
