1 What does Source A tell us about why many men wanted to join the SA in the 1920s and early 1930s?

In 1921, soon after becoming the chairman of the new Nazi Party, Adolf Hitler formed an organisation that he named the SA (Sturmabteilung, or Storm Section in English). This paramilitary group played an important role in helping Hitler become leader of Germany in 1933. So why was it that, within a year of him becoming chancellor, Hitler effectively destroyed the SA? Why was the fall of the SA so rapid?
