This Question and Answer considers several questions from Edexcel AS Geography Unit 1 Global Challenges. These particular questions focus on the topic of migration, which is covered by other specifications too (Box 1). The questions were originally set in May 2013 and are taken from both Section A and Section B of the examination paper. The questions are printed in bold type and the student’s answers are in italics.
