There are almost 100 British universities offering undergraduate degrees in English language and literature, which are listed under the UCAS course code Q300. So how might you go about choosing which courses to apply to? Part of your decision may be determined by where in geographical terms you would like to study. Your predicted grades and academic record will also play a part. Then there are practical considerations: is the university on a campus or in a city, what is the accommodation like, how much it will cost, what facilities does the university have? But even when you’ve taken all these factors into account, you will be left with many possible English degrees to choose from.
