AT Hello, I am Anisha Tamang. I’m currently a final-year economics student at City, University of London. Within my degree, I have enjoyed studying macroeconomics and finance courses and I also completed a placement year at Mazars Accountants. Before starting university, I grew up in different countries such as Hong Kong and Nepal. This has led me frequently to compare my life in different cities and how this applies the economic theories learned in the classroom to real-life.

AT My fascination with economics began with a unique upbringing. Living in both Hong Kong and Nepal exposed me to contrasting economic realities. Witnessing these different systems piqued my curiosity about the forces that shape a nation’s financial landscape. I wanted to understand how society and economy work and about the ways in which they don’t work.
