Start with the specification

Trying to guess which topics will come up in exams is a recipe for disaster. It is much better to have good knowledge of the whole specification and focus on answering the question set

Few individuals are involved in the writing of exam questions. Even those who are involved with the marking of the scripts only see the papers themselves after they are sat. Do not trust websites or potential sources that claim to be able to predict future exam questions. Like gamblers who only ever tell you about the successful bets they have placed and ignore the more numerous times they have lost, these sites will only tell you about the times they got lucky.

The simple truth is that the best way to prepare for an exam is to start with the specification itself. Examiners are not allowed to ask a question that does not appear within the specification, so I can predict with 100% accuracy that the topics asked about will appear somewhere on the specification.
