In February 2016 the claimsmanagement company Rebus collapsed. It had raised over £800,000 through crowdfunding on the Crowdcube platform and investors lost all their investment, with over 100 investors each losing between £5,000 and £135,000. These losses occurred within a year, as the capitalraising exercise for Rebus took place in March and April 2015.
