Mastering 20-mark questions

Former chief examiner Ian Marcousé explains how to tackle 20-markers, which are a key feature of Edexcel A-level exam papers

Edexcel has promised that all 20-mark questions will triggered by the term ‘evaluate’. They require a balanced answer that leads towards a conclusion that provides justifies a recommendation or solution. Within that answer must be substantial, logical arguments that are rooted in the business context provided.
