On 1 May 2015 Waffle Jack’s opened on Merton Park Parade in southwest London. Within an hour the place was packed with schoolboys munching waffles and fries before school. If founders/owners Adele and Stephen Theron get their way, it will be the first of ten managed stores to open over the next 5 years. After that, Stephen believes the concept, staff training and sourcing of equipment and ingredients will be well practised enough to allow the business to grow further through franchising.
