Units 3 and 4 are make or break in terms of getting the grades you require to enter university or employment. With January exams no longer an option, they have grown even more in significance and it is crucial that you perform well in both units to maximise your chances of success.
The good news is that both BUSS3 and BUSS4 are arguably less daunting in terms of timing than the AS units. The extra time that you are granted on these papers should be used to your advantage. This brings in the vital skill of planning and utilising your time so that you give yourself every opportunity to access the A and A* grades. Both exams carry a maximum mark of 80 and while the questions themselves carry far more marks than at AS, if you achieve 55 out of 80 marks then you should be close to an A grade. For more strategies on how to approach the individual papers, see BUSINESS REVIEW, Vol. 20, No. 4.
