The editors of Fortune magazine have written a book called The Greatest Business Decisions of All Time. They chose 18 of them. However, these include some rather obscure US businesses and only five of the 18 actually seem worthy of the soubriquet.
All five give insights into strategy and represent decisions with long-term consequences for the business concerned. Although the book places the 18 in no particular order, I am placing my five in a countdown to number one.
