One of the issues with the BUSS4 exam is that students tend to focus on the same examples of businesses that have been involved in mergers and takeovers. It is worth remembering that examiners can become tired of reading the same accounts of what certain firms have done over and over again.
You should try and bring in businesses that are different, unique and that will help you gain important application and analysis marks. You should also write about industries or firms that interest you, and those that are easier and more enjoyable to research.
