In the last couple of months young entrepreneur Jamal Edwards, 21, was featured in the Guardian, labelled as ‘one of Britain’s top young entrepreneurs’ by Richard Branson, signed a label deal with Sony RCA, was announced as the face of New Era’s first European campaign and has now been made the main feature in Google Chrome’s ‘The internet is what you make of it’ advertising campaign. But who is he, and how has he become so successful?
Jamal’s journey started on Christmas Day 2007, when his mother bought him a video camera. From there he started filming his estate and uploading the videos onto YouTube:
