BUSINESS REVIEW first featured an article on Dubai in 2007. At the time it was a relatively unknown location. However, with the growth of Dubai itself and the influx of investment from the middle east across the world, we are more aware of Dubai than ever before.

Certain commentators, such as Piers Morgan, have suggested that Dubai is a modern day Tower of Babel. With that in mind, it is interesting to see how Dubai is viewed by those that live there — and perhaps more interestingly what it is like to study as a student there.
