Ivanka Marie Trump is the daughter of the American real estate magnate Donald Trump. She was born on 30 October 1981 in New York and is of Czech, German and Scottish descent. As executive vice-president of the Trump Organization, Ivanka is a highly successful businesswoman. She is also a high-profile celebrity, notably as a judge on the US version of The Apprentice, a successful jewellery designer and a published author.
Ivanka has two siblings, older brother Donald Trump Jr and younger brother Eric. Her mother Ivana Trump was a Czech Olympic skier but is now better known for her clothing and jewellery products which are sold on television shopping channels. Ivanka is married to Jared Kushner, the owner of the New York Observer newspaper. Before she married, Ivanka converted from Catholicism to Judaism after studying with a rabbi.
